The Braves have already started the offseason roster. Atlanta announces they have replaced five players – outfielder Jarred Kelenicright-handed Alexis Díaz and Dann Dunningcatcher Sandy Leonand utility players Luke Williams – 40-man lineup. They will all become minor league free agents in the next few weeks.
Atlanta has 11 players on the 60-day injury roster ending the season. They all need to be activated or put on a waiver within five days of the World Series. The Brave received Dunning from the Rangers in July. It’s a salary dump in Texas and one of many low-buy flighters in Atlanta because their pitchers have been hurt.
