Stuttgart opens: Mirra Andreeva loses directly to Ekaterina Alexandrova in the last 16 times

Over the past 16 years, she has lost directly to Russia's Russian Ekaterina Alexandrova, while her teenage girl Mirra Andreeva opened from Stuttgart.
The sixth seed Andreeva, who has won two titles this season, beat Alexandrova 6-3 6-2 in just over an hour.
Andreeva, 17, won the Dubai Tennis Championship in February, became the youngest champion in the WTA 1000 event in February, and then won the Indian Wells in March.
But she couldn't fight against 30-year-old Alexandrova, who won her fourth victory for the top ten players this season.
Alexandrova will beat US third seed Jessica Pegula in the quarterfinals as she beat Poland's Magdalena Frech 6-1 6-1.
Italy's fifth seed, Jasmine Paolini, beat the unseeded German Jule Niemeier 6-1 7-5, reaching the final eight games for the second consecutive year.
In 57 minutes, she will play the fourth-seeded Coco Gauff in the United States after she will cruising on Germany’s Ella Seidel 6-1 6-1.
Top seed Aryna Sabalenka will play Belgian Elise Mertens in the quarterfinals before withdrawing her last 16 games before Anastasia Potapova was injured.
The last tie was the last time that Polish second seed Iga Swiatek defeated by unseeded Latvian Jelena Ostapenko after defeating the seventh seed of the United States Emma Navarro 7-5 3-6 6-2.
