Sweden ranked first in the World Youth Summer Showcase – Hockey Writer – World Youth Hockey Championship

The fourth day of the world junior year, the summer showroom is back in two games, and the first match on Wednesday, July 30 was between Sweden and the United States. Tensions were high again, which was striking after the first whistle in just seven seconds of the game. The biggest lineup move is Cole Eiserman returning to the United States after missing out on the United States in the past few games.

The goalkeeper showdown was Nick Kempf of the United States and Herman Liv of Sweden. The game started with Sweden’s support and the United States had to fight back. The second phase was all the punishments from both sides, and many powerful targets followed. However, Sweden entered third place with a lead, despite a small rebound from the United States and won the game 6-3.
Game review
The goal score didn’t start until midway through the period, but there were four penalties in the first 10 minutes of the game. There were six more in the last 10 minutes of the period. Sweden first was Jack Berglund’s goal, his second display cabinet. Liam Danielsson and Leo Shalin Wallenius assisted him with a 1-0 mark. Sweden scored again a few minutes later, this time with Sahlin Wallenius, who assisted him with a 2-0 score. These were the only goals for the period, with Sweden leading to second place 2-0.
The second phase initially starts with the five players in the free throw box at the end of the first phase. Three players are in the United States for the United States, one player is in Sweden, and then flips, Sweden has three, and one in the United States. This continued for the rest of the time and masked the goal of the score. The United States scored in the first five minutes on Cullen Potter’s goal. Ryker Lee and Jacob Kvasnicka assisted him with a 2-1 mark.
Sweden answered their strong game with Berglund’s goal, his second game. Victor Johansson assisted him with a 3-1 score. The fine continued, with the United States scoring at the end of the game. The goal was recorded by Will Horcoff, with Lee and Potter’s assistance getting him 3-2. However, it was brief, as Sweden responded with a goal from Erik Nilsson, who ended the period with a 4-2 lead with assistance from Sahlin-Wallenius and Linus Eriksson.
The United States scored a 5-to-3 strong match in Game 3. The goal is his first point of the day with James Hagens scoring, assisted by Brodie Ziemer and Luke Osburn, who won Sweden with a 4-3 offer. Again, Sweden’s Valter Lindberg scored 5-3 and it won’t last. Viggo Nordlund and Alexander Zetterberg assisted him. Sweden added another goal, an empty goal for Eriksson to win 6-3. Filip Ekberg and Nilson assisted him.
Both teams will practice tomorrow, Thursday, July 31, and will return to the game on Friday, August 1. Sweden will face Canada in the first game, and then the United States will face Finland in the second game of the day.
