The Edmonton Oilers made it to the Stanley Cup final for only the second consecutive year, and it was just a win. Despite their strong performance in the last few games, it seems like they might be in big trouble not long ago.

The Oilers collapsed in Game 1, defeating Stars to lead the third stage 3-1 and losing 6-3 in the final. While some think it will be the Oiler ending, the others who follow this team grabbed a very quick grab between Connor McDavid and Leon Draisaitl for a while, which gave them a good feeling that the series will be turned around. Now, it does seem to be the case.
McDavid & Draisaitl simply restores faith
As oilers fans know, McDavid is not a player who often shows his emotions. He will never get too high or too low. A large part of this is likely due to his long-term status as a hockey phenomenon, as he has been trained in multiple areas on the ice and on the ice since he was a young age.
As for Draisaitl, sometimes, although he sometimes shows his emotions over the past few years. However, in recent years, the situation for the German big center has changed as his frustrations get better as he gets better.
Although both McDavid and Draisaitl were obviously frustrated by their first crash, they seemed to be very composed when the camera grabbed them on the Oilers bench. Instead, the only thing found is that the two are subtle from each other.

In order for the Oilers to reach their final goal this time, they will need these two guys to continue playing at this level, even better. But the good news this year is that they have made more contributions in the roster, which helps relieve their stress. While there are still some ways to go, they are as good as winning all, and the quick-browed characters in the first match of the Western Conference Final may have played a bigger role than many people who have achieved in real time.
