World No. 1 Aryna Sabalenka made her fourth Stuttgart Open final with a 7-5 6-4 victory over Italy's Jasmine Paolini 7-5 6-4.
However, the 26-year-old is targeting the first champion, losing to Ash Barty in 2021 and Iga Swiatek in 2022 and 2023.
Although Sabalenka almost led 5-2, Sabalenka maintained her first innings before Paulini won the first three games of the second game strongly.
