Wimbledon 2025 results: Jannik Sinner defeats Carlos Alcaraz

Over the past two seasons, Sinner and Alcaraz have created a double rate in the men’s game, forging a fascinating competition that has begun to fill the gap left by the sport’s aging superstars.

Here is another demonstration that the hope of Duel (ATP Tour) will long be expected to replace Roger Federer -Rafael Nadal -Novak Djokovic Gap – could be a sensation in the coming years.

Few people will confidently predict their first meeting in Wimbledon finals.

Alcaraz won 35 of his 38 grassland games, with ostensibly greater blood, but Sinner won his only encounter at Wimbledon in 2022.

Alcaraz has made a relatively slow start in his service game over the past two weeks, with the Spaniard facing a total of 48 points compared to Sinner’s 17 points.

When he lost the serve and trailed 4-2 in the opener, it felt like Alkaraz would strike back from behind again.

But when Sina got sloppy to level in Game 8, he pounced, and the subtle change in motivation led to Alcaraz winning the championship with a backhand stretch, somehow becoming a surprising winner.

One of the factors that make this competition fascinating is their opposite style. Alcaraz has high artistic shot production, but his level can be lower than the stable sinner.

This happened in the second set as Alcaraz serves and concentration – gone.

Sinner broke through the first game and was also disrupted when his service moves were also shot to baseline by the champagne cork, which was a decisive one.

A set of locking the score lines separately feels like another classic.

In the third set, there was little difference between the two until the Sinners flocked to break through and get the lead in Game 9.

Sinner hit the ball without mercy from the back of the court, and his pedestrian fleet began to thwart Alcaraz in the fourth set as his opponent tried to lure him forward.

Another early rest puts sinners under command. Considering what happened in Paris, the real test was victory – he passed confidently.
