NHL Rumors: Pittsburgh Penguin, Florida Black Panther, Minnesota Wild and Toronto Maple Leaf

Josh Leivo is interested in returning to the NHL, and the Pittsburgh Penguin may be the perfect landing point
Dan Kingerski of Pittsburgh Hockey: Forwards Josh Leivo and UFA Salavat Yulayev split the road after two seasons. Last season, he scored 49 goals and 80 points in 62 games and hopes to return to the NHL. He has never scored 10 goals in one season in his 10 NHL seasons.
The Pittsburgh penguin may be his ideal landing site. Leivo was with Maple Leafs when Kyle Dubas was GM. He will be the buying option for Penguin and may be a trade asset for the trade deadline.
Quickly hit the Florida Panther, Minnesota Wild and Toronto Maple Leaf
Sportsnet’s Luke Fox: The Florida Panthers have a salary cap of nearly $4 million, but they can start Matthew Tkachuk on LTIR. Rumors say Evan Rodrigues and his $3 million block could be a hat casualty. It would be assumed that the Panthers didn’t have to move him. Tkachuk wants to play in the Olympics, so he won’t be the whole season as some people suggest.
NHL Rumor: Two Trade Goals for Vancouver Canucks
Marco Rossi, 23, of Minnesota Wild RFA Forward, has been hoping for a long-term deal, but the wild doesn’t think so. I feel like this contract will not be completed soon. Will Miss Rosie be in camp? It’s not very good for players who missed Camp.
So, Toronto Maple Leaf and Nick Robertson reached a year-on-year, $1.82 million deal before their arbitration hearing, but what happens now? He had asked for a deal before and stayed in the rumor mill for a while. Will Ye Zi trade him or continue to protect him? Leaf did not replace Mitch Marner’s departure offensive. He should still have some trade value to Leafs and more value than Calle Jarnkrok and David Kampf. Given their caps and his reasonable hat blow, there was no rush to move him.
