Scottie Scheffler finds clues to the Big Ryder Cup falls next open title

Finally, we concluded that most of us envisioned early this week. World No. 1 Scottie Scheffler won his fourth place professional in 16 games, and he was one of the worst of Rory McIlroy, but he was still not in his thirties.

We have not won the British title since Sir Nick Faldo in 1992, and here we have finished second in Harris English on the Georgia Island. Another American, Chris Gotterup, ranked third on his 26th birthday, has completed the most ridiculous trip to Britain in recent weeks.

With the 2019 sunshine, so is Portrush’s Dunluce link. About 300,000 people have witnessed the whole thing, and most people may see one of the greatest golfers of all time.

Schefller alone on top

Scottie Scheffler won his first PGA Tour less than three and a half years ago – he now has 17 wins, including four majors. If/When he wins the U.S. Open – when we’re at Shinnecock next year – he’ll follow Rory McIlroy into the professional Grand Slam record book, he’s still only 29 years old.

Now the four major champions are merciless. Comparisons with tigers are coming, and with each victory, they seem to be more and more sounding. One or two thought he was a little lucky and he encountered more rest time than others. A normal shot won’t be punished like everyone else, and good shots get great thanks to the ramp breakout.

In an untrained eye, this seems fair enough.

The simple fact is that he barely missed a shot, most of which were played from the top of the rankings. When was the last time you saw him on his own?

How often did you see him shattering on a 5-5-5-5-5-shot green, just adding another bird to the scorecard? He has one of a great golf brains, and to make things worse for everyone else is a game of steel and caddies that makes it more like a superpower.

For a week or so, we will forget the Peak Tiger’s par putters.

A negative number is the Sunday par for the disaster 16 yards. Every other day, he did two.

In the end, he won four wins 68-67-67-68, his most convincing major victory to date.

How does Portrush stand up?

We got everything in Portrush and Dunluce Links stuck with it all. Although this is different from the conditions of the 2019 Bible, we have rained, sunshine and all kinds of winds and the courses are excellent.

The pins are hidden, but the score is ideal. The opening hole seemed to be a factor more important than the last time, and we never saw the ending match with the champion online again.

Players often say that Portrush is fair. The bunker (62) is less than any other open layout, and it plays more in the air. Scheffler and Bryson DeChambeau shared the best round of the week with their respective 64 seconds.

It’s sensational in some places and has been firmly fixed fixtures on the Rota.

How can R&A’s wishes still be?

Can we draw conclusions?

This may be picky or just totally wrong, but how many open courses have a really nice plastic surgery hole? The lack of dramatic drama in both visits, or following the fact of the 4th rod, is the fact of the drive and flick, but the 18th of us didn’t help at Porthush’s 18th, but many of us liked 4-shots (think the driver and at least 5-rail) to end the championship.

We don’t understand it here and don’t get it in many places. Muirfield immediately thought, maybe it was the wind of Burkedale. The days from Faldo, the game was unrecognizable and could be locked open, but it felt better for the champion.

Everyone loves old classes, but as the perfect open-filled hole, not for me.

What did we do to Rory?

After all, Augusta McIlroy’s Hullabaloo ended the major season with being eclipsed by Scheffler. We just want to see the local hero know something about it, and that’s what he does. The tee shooting that opened Thursday told us a lot about his tension, and he completed four days of 10 days under PAR.

The 10-year-old Flyer ended his very distant opportunity, but it was a very positive week, both his race and his average happiness. He said it well, openly, smiles are back, and as all his pressure piles up on him, he will leave a lot of honor.

Who is the future open winner?

DeChambeau missed three innings in his first seven Opens, with only eighth place in St Andrews, a different course from other open tests that won the top 30. It is also one-dimensional, and the two-time U.S. Open champion seems to be very suitable for this championship.

But he is slowly solving it. There were no birdies on the first day, and he watched home after opening 78, but then he hit the remaining 54 holes in the remaining 54 holes under the age of 16, the second lowest total in open history.

Once upon a time, Phil Mickelson was unable to decipher the open challenge, and then he ran the ball at Troon in 2004 and won at Muirfield nine years later.

If DeChambeau did put his hands on the fuchsia jug, Porthush might get a mention in his open education.

Can you have a better two weeks?

Two weeks ago, Chris Gotterup left the United States to become the 158th player in the world without public occasions. He then won the Scottish Open, defeating Rory McIlroy to finish second, getting over £1m before changing his plans to go to Porthush for his public debut. His biggest problem is that he doesn’t have enough clothes.

Now we all know who Chris Gotterup is, and we might even see him in September on Bethpage. His fresh air breathes, no folded gloves (he doesn’t like being restricted), convenient swing, tallest ball hits and cute balls. Finally, he finished third on his own and now he will find himself in the 30 players on Earth.

Who helped their Ryder Cup?

Sergio Garcia is ranked 174th in the Ryder Cup rankings (see Liv Golf), but still has the chance to queue for the 11th time in Europe.

Espanyol has played every game since 1999, except for 2010 and 2023, but he does have a favor, and although long ago, he will be the ideal companion for Jon Rahm. He won the championship this year, and he was a normal player, but he was the lead of all-time scorers (and he was also a good companion to Luke Donald).

“We kept talking. Jon (Rahm) and I were good friends. I watched some YouTube videos during this week’s game, which we watched in the game there.

“Obviously, getting into New York is always good experience, mainly because the experienced guys do a great job there to make sure those rookies know what they are entering, put their arms around you, so you don’t have to worry about it, and when people yell, scream and hope you can think of all the bad things that you can think of.”

LIV players will not have another chance to add their rankings – Tyrrell Hatton certainly did enough, whatever the list says at the end of August. Likewise, Rahm will get his fourth start in Bethpage.

Otherwise, Matt Fitzpatrick rose eight positions in the Scottish and he has now returned to another advantage of Luke Donald.

Patrick Cantlay was the main force of the Roman Americans, but he missed his last three major cuts, thus no benefit. People like Harris English and Wyndham Clark won the opportunity.
