Sailors choose Samad Taylor and put Dylan Moore on IL

Sailors announce, infielder/outfielder Samad Taylor Has been selected as the roster. He will occupy the active roster of infielders/outfielders Dylan Moorehe was listed on the 10-day injury list. The IL was placed on April 26, which was caused by inflammation of the right hip. Open a 40-person position for Taylor, right-handed Gregory Santos Transferred to 60 days IL.
Moore has been hot on the way this year, with a 0.286/.346/.557 line at this point, bounced to all four infield spots and the right area. He won the American Player of the Week honors for the week from April 14 to 20. It seems that this hip problem will be paused. He hasn't played since Friday, which is why M can look back at his IL position. The club hasn't offered any updates, but if he just needs a break, he might rejoin them in a week.
Currently, Taylor will appear and take his place. Like Moore, he has the ability to bounce around diamonds. In the major leagues, he has experience in second base, third base, midfield and left field. He also played some shortstops among minors, although not this year.
On the offensive end, he hit only .215/.288/.277 in 74 major league games, but the numbers on the farm are much better. His history goes back to early 2022, with 1,392 steps on the triple level at the .277/.371/.427 line and 108 WRC+. This includes the strong .321/.389/.560 so far this year. Speed is also an important part of Taylor's game. His season in every minor league can be traced back to 2018, including 50 last year. So far, he has six in 2025.
He would probably move to various positions for M, and maybe he could do some tight running. He still has an option, so if Moore becomes relatively fast and healthy, he can easily be sent back to minors.
As for Santos, he reportedly underwent surgery last week to repair cartilage in his right knee. His exact schedule is not clear, but this time transfer to the 60-day IL shows that the club hopes he will be after mid-June.
