The best moment for the Thunder NBA Championship Parade

The Oklahoma City Thunder held a championship parade that finally took place for 17 years on Tuesday.
Now, the pain and pain of the Kevin Durant Russel Westbrook era is now replaced by the sheer ecstasy of Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, Jalen Williams and Chet Holmgren.
Oklahoma City fans appreciated the whole process of the parade. The Thunder players also did not shy away from showing their love to them.
Holmgren and Luguentz Dort walk with fans along with the Larry O’Brien trophy so fans can touch it, a memory they will cherish throughout their lives. How long does it take for them to wash their hands is a story for another day.

Gilgeous-Alexander receives special honors
Gilgeous-Alexander tried his best to represent Canada, and his country’s flag was wrapped around his waist while he was touring. Fans made sure he heard the MVP ode everywhere, and Mayor David Holt took a step further.
When he spoke to the public, Holt announced that July 30 (Gilgeous-Alexander’s birthday) will now be held in Oklahoma City. He may be Canadian, but he is also Oklahoman now.
“Wednesday, July 30…is Shai Gilgeous-Alexander Day!”

Homgren smiled
The Thunder Big Man certainly makes the most of his celebration. But these celebrations can cause huge losses when speaking.
Holmgren thanked General Manager Sam Presti and head coach Mark Digneault for believing him, which quickly brought his teammates to laughter.

Wiggins provides heart
Although Gilgeous-Alexander may be the regular season MVP and the final MVP, Aaron Wiggins will certainly receive the award for the Parade Speech MVP.
Wiggins first thanks to the legend of the paving franchise, especially Nick Collison. He then described his journey since being ranked 55th by the team in 2021. The Thunder won 24 games that season, and Wiggins remembered they were called the “black hole” in the NBA.
Now, four years later, they become champions and will always be champions.
“When they mention Clay Bennett, when they mention Sam Presti, when they mention Mark Digneault and everyone of you, they mention you as an NBA champion!”
Thunder players stood up unanimously, followed by crowds and crazily applauds. There is nothing else to do except put down the microphone.
