Wimbledon 2025: Jannik Sinner says he will be “100%” for Novak Djokovic semifinals

Djokovic bid for a record 25th Grand Slam title, losing to Sinner at the French Open earlier this year.

The two met twice in the quarterfinals in Wimbledon and the semi-finals in 2023, with Djokovic winning both times.

But the three-time Grand Slam champion Sinners won the past four sessions.

“We know each other better because we play a lot,” Sina said.

“I never won his victory here at Wimbledon, so it would be a very, very difficult challenge.”

Sinner also said he decided to play against Sheldon to reduce the chance of slipping and falling again.

He added: “I played with brand new shoes and had more grip.”

“I didn’t even practice [in them]. It’s brand new, usually on other surfaces that I don’t do.

“The main point on the grass is to have a lot of grip, so I have to get used to it.”
