Chelsea reportedly eager to reach a transfer deal for Barcelona defender Ronald Araujo this summer.

Uruguay International has always been a key player in Barca, and it makes sense that some big names are connected to him now.

Regarding Araujo's latest future, the future of Spanish media Fichajes is that Chelsea, along with Bayern Munich and Juventus, targets a price of about €65 million.

This is claimed in another recent report by Fichajes that Liverpool is increasing interest in signing Araujo.

Ronald Araujo's release clause attracts interest

The latest situation about Araujo's situation appears to be that he will have a €65 million release clause in July, a reminder to Chelsea, Bayern and Juventus.

The Blues could strengthen the defensive role, and while they were closely related to Bournemouth's Dean Huijsen, people think they might think of alternatives, too.
