Roger Federer has added another milestone to his remarkable legacy, but this time it’s off the court. The 103-time Tour Champion has officially joined the prestigious Forbes list of the world’s billionaires, underscoring his immense success outside of tennis.
Federer joins the 2026 rankings with an estimated fortune of around $1.1 billion, becoming one of the few athletes in history to achieve billionaire status through athletic success, endorsements and business ventures. The annual list tracks the world’s richest individuals and can be viewed here: Forbes World’s Billionaires List.

Federer joins a small group of athletes who have surpassed the billion-dollar mark, including LeBron James and Tiger Woods. His presence on the list also reflects a growing trend of athletes amassing vast fortunes through entrepreneurship and business ventures alongside their careers.
On the court, Federer’s resume remains one of the most illustrious. The 44-year-old has won 20 Grand Slam titles and spent 310 weeks at the top of the PIF ATP Rankings, including 237 consecutive weeks. He also won the ATP Masters 1000 crown 28 times and the Nitto ATP Finals six times.
The Swiss star, who is also a co-founder of the Laver Cup, competed in January at the Australian Open in an exhibition doubles match with fellow ATP No. 1 club members Andre Agassi, Patrick Rafter and Lleyton Hewitt.
