Leeds continue to speak to their team at the end of the summer transfer in early September, with signing and exports expected to take place by the deadline.
On Elland Road, people want to add a new right-back to Daniel Farke’s squad. While Leeds hopes to offer him a better game, Jayden Bogle is expected to be the starter for the 2025-26 season, which is why they are struggling to make a deal for Leicester’s James Justin.
Leeds is in talks for Justin’s permanent signing and has decided who he will replace on Farke’s side.

Just as Leeds is everywhere, once Justin is signed, Leeds is ready to approve Isaac Schmidt’s departure. The 25-year-old, who only joined the Swiss side St Gallen last summer, was disappointing in his 2024-25 season as he made only 14 appearances in all competitions (12 of the championship).
Schmidt has reached personal terms with Werder Bremen in the Bundesliga, who is expected to join the seasonal loan deal, which includes a purchase option. But once the replacement is signed, Leeds will only give the green light, and it is now expected to be Justin.
Previously, Schmidt hinted that he could stay in Leeds and return to the Premier League, but that was almost certainly not the case. It was a disappointing moment for him on Elland Road, although the 25-year-old still has time to revive his career – and he hopes to do that in Germany.
Leeds will hope to get Justin into the door soon as they aim to continue to strengthen the season as they face Everton on Monday night.
