Castle StuartYingshi Earl Morey. Once a symbol of forgotten grandeur, the castle is now the heart of Cabot Heights, where tradition encounters innovation and history and weaves it into various experiences.
The launch of the new and old elementary school curriculum carefully designed by Tom Doak brings golfers closer to this architectural icon than ever, with its turret and stone now bordering the third hole, one of the most anticipated new layouts for golf in the world.
The new Cabot Heights tartan was created in collaboration with renowned Highland designer Clare Campbell, whose vision respects the land under the fairway.
The design draws inspiration from the natural tones of the Scottish Highlands and the heritage of Stewart Castle itself. The fabric tells the story of art and local pride at the last remaining operational tartan mill in the Highlands.
“Celebrating the 400th anniversary of Stewart Castle is an incredible milestone and we are honored to mark the occasion by revealing the official tartan of Cabot Heights,” said Mark Wright, general manager and regional vice president of Cabot Heights Hotel Industry.
“Woven on the last operating tartan mill in the Highlands, this custom-made piece pays tribute to the land’s long history and the enduring spirit of the region.”
Capote Heights tartan blends heritage with modern identity, designed to wear and tear on and off routes – a true symbol of connection with location.
“At Cabot, brands have always been about storytelling with purpose. From day one, we have been intentionally doing every detail, and the Cabot Heights Tartan is no exception,” said Jules Cowan, chief marketing officer of Cabot.
“It’s not just a design, it’s a symbol of place, history and identity that connects our guests to the Highlands in a very real way.”
