Rattlesnake releases Rene Pinto -MLB Trade Rumors

D-backs releases catcher Rene PintoAccording to the MILB.com transaction log, he has been playing the branch of Triple A with Reno. He is a free agent who can interest from any team looking to strengthen his catch depth in the final month of the season.
Pinto, 28, has not played in the Grand Slam this season, but has major league time in each of the last three seasons. He has solid framed results in the Grand Slam but has been working hard to control the running game and has attracted bad results from the Statcast as he is able to stop the dirt court. Pinto is a career .231/.263/.404 batsman with 10 home runs but has a strikeout rate of 36.7% in 237 Major League Baseball appearances.
While his major league numbers aren’t worth noting, Pinto performed much better in Triple-A. He played 11.268/.324/.517 in 225 games this season with Reno and played 57 home runs in 1132 cricket games in the Highest Little League, with a career of .256/.307/.493. However, strikeouts out are also a problem for Triple-A. 29.9% of his career there were revelling there.
Now, there isn’t much capture depth on the market, so teams that have been injured behind the plate recently may be backing off the front rays. red(Taylor Stephenson),metropolisFrancisco Alvarez) and the National (Keibert Ruiz) For example, all catchers are currently on the injured list. With the roster expanding to 28 players on September 1, another club may also want to use one of the extra positions to carry a third catcher, which could create further opportunities.
