Pinto, 28, has not played in the Grand Slam this season, but has major league time in each of the last three seasons. He played 11.268/.324/.517 in 225 games this season with Reno and played 57 home runs in 1132 cricket games in the Highest Little League, with a career of .256/.307/.493. However, strikeouts out are also a problem for Triple-A. 29.9% of his career there were revelling there.
