Promote Bris Matthews’ Astronaut

Astronauts are promoting the outlook for the infield Bris Matthewsreport Brian McTaggart of MLB.com. The club is not here today, but he will join tomorrow. The Astronauts will need to select him to a 40-man roster and open an active roster.

Matthews, 23, is the first-round pick for the club two summers ago. The Astronauts picked him with the 28th pick in the 2023 draft and signed him with a prize of less than 2.5mm. Nebraska’s products are praised by the Boy Scouts for their comprehensive tool set and patient approach. The more pessimistic assessors expressed concerns about his swing and turnover rate increase, while questioning whether he has arm strength to stick with shortstop.

The correct hit infielder has lived up to that profile this year. He made his first full season with 12 games here last year. Matthews carry .283/.400/.476 slashes through the 325 disk appearance. He has connected 10 home runs and has been stolen 25 bases in 31 attempts. He walks with 15.4% of the clip while over 30%. His average exit speed and hard contact rate are both higher than the MLB average. Matthews showed above-average power/speed combinations, willing to do in-depth counts and below-average contact skills.

And more.
