Golf Business News – Eight-point generation invites free golf at Terras DA Comporta

Terras DA Comporta, in launching a new initiative to provide the Octogenarians with a free round (global acclaimed Dunas and Torre course) in its two championship games that will be active in the next few years in the two championship games that will open this summer.

Recognizing the many health benefits golf brings to seniors, the award-winning venue near Lisbon offers members of the Portuguese Golf Federation when they enjoyed eight free rounds of two courses at the age of 80.

Since its opening in October 2023, Dunas Course – Architect David McLay-Kidd’s first golf design project on the continent has quickly become one of the essential courses in Europe.

The acclaimed Par-71 layout has received many leading industry accolades, including being called “the best golf course in the world” at the 2024 World Golf Awards and being used by users of respected industry websites as the number one golf course in Portugal. Add to this this summer’s eagerly anticipated Torre course (top picture) is the first major golf course design project for European Ryder Cup legend Sergio Garcia. Inspired by the real club Club Valderrama – the 2017 Masters champion is his favorite stadium in the world, with the Par-72 courses ranging from spacious stadiums, small greens, 6,575 meters from the rear T-shirt.
