Mbappe Double Sees Alonso’s Men Stay 100% Start

Kylian Mbappe scored three goals in two games to open a new La Liga season, while Vinicius Jr responded with a late effort as Real Madrid broke the real Oviedo balloon tonight for back-to-back victory.

The hosts come to the competition through the play-offs in the Segunda Division and hope to celebrate their first home game in 24 years in the top 24 years and win with a 15-time European champion’s statement.

Madrid has other ideas, though, and Mbappe’s half-half support is enough to make the three-pointer Xabi Alonso’s man deserves.

Alonso is brave and rich

18-year-old Franco Mastantuono and Rodrygo made some eye-catching decisions in the starting lineup, entering the XI with Vinicius JR, which fell on the bench.

The Brazil international did get into the competition within 18 minutes of the second half and seemed determined to make up for the lost time and produced a lively display to see him assisting MBAPPE for Madrid’s second time before entering the scoring slice by himself.

Madrid also enjoyed the opening moments, surprisingly allowing them to stand.

French midfielder Aurelien Tchouameni crashed into Leander Dendoncker and won the ball, but used extreme power, Arda Guler took possession and then slid the cute ball to Mbappe. The former PSG star did the rest, making a sharp turn before firing, surpassing family goalkeeper Aaron Escandell.

The clever Mbappe also scored his only goal when he entered the season with a 1-0 victory over Osasuna on Tuesday night.

Madrid ruled for the first 45 minutes

While Madrid can bring their goals into the touch, there is no doubt that their first half performance deserves some rewards.

After the fear that survived the opening time – Thibaut Courois almost fluffy attempts to stop Ilyas Chaira – Alonso’s soldiers at the highest.

Mastantuono turned the penalty in the 15th minute after arguing with Dani Calvo, and seven minutes later Federico Valverde saw Escandell save a shot comfortably.

A final defense prevented Rodrygo from hitting the target before Madrid came again.

36 minutes later, Madrid was a few inches away from the lead. More good work for Rodrygo saw Escandell push the cross toward more heroic blockades in Oviedo, preventing Guler from covering it.

However, the host would have to wait until halftime to stick with it, as Mbappe eagerly threw the outside side ahead.

Oviedo appeals wave

The smokey home fans still on referee Ricardo de Burgos Bengoetxea were once again irritated in the second half 10 minutes, when experienced forward Salomon Rondon fell under the challenge of Dean Huijsen inside the area, but officials waved the players’ appeal.

Mbappe is approaching again before Mastantuono and Rodrygo make room for Brahim Diaz and Vinicius Jr.

Escandell produced a stunning stay to prevent Valverde’s efforts, which almost received a momentary reward.

There is still eight minutes left at the critical moment. Oviedo has already started to venture into the search for an equalizer and their adventures have almost paid off as Kwasi Sibo’s curling efforts beat the post with Courtois’ defeat.

Mbappe solves Madrid

A minute later, the game effectively ended as JR played in Mbappe, who surpassed the goalkeeper with a goalkeeper and entered the trademark finish in the lower right corner.

Escandell’s excellent save denied Mbappe’s hat-trick, but the Guardians had barely done to prevent Vinicius JR from 3-0 when he was injured, with the South American superstar calmly entering the net’s pass.
