Joe Dumars and Zion Wlliamson: “We’ve always been in touch with each other”

What kind of rapport did you establish with Zion? How do you get his best? Dumars: The first thing I want to say about Zion is that he is an incredibly good guy. He is a very good person. He is obviously very talented. He had some incredible conversations with me. We are constantly in contact with each other. I’ve talked to him about the responsibility of greatness, and the responsibility of being a leader, being a captain, being the best player, being a franchise. I’ve talked with him about how all these things bring responsibility and accepting them when I’m 25.
