Paul George on Giannis antetokounmpo: I can’t see him wanting to leave Milwaukee

Paul George: The most frustrating thing about last season was that I was healthy. I didn’t play ic. I worked physically throughout the offseason and became healthy. Then I went to Philadelphia. I was injured in preseason. Since then, I’m like – you know, I haven’t healed full time. But I have expectations. I don’t want them to hang. I want to go there to play. But once I was there, I was like, “Damn it, that’s not right.” I didn’t burst. I can’t move. I can’t fix what it is. Apparently, my knee overstretching still bothers me. I have a stand for a long time. Starting with the stent, I began to develop quadriplegic tendon injuries. And then that started out flat for me. So I started taking the medicine to get numb. Then I got hurt, I didn’t even know. That was when I found my adder torn. I couldn’t move all the time. People are like – Philip’s fans may be tough with you. I’m very cool. Because at the end of the day, there is an expectation, and I respect that. I’m not a person who avoids it. I want that hot. I want that kind of pressure. But it just sucks. I can’t give them all I have because my body is not what it should be. Most importantly, I need a big guy. -VIA YouTube / May 20, 2025
