Oriole Scott Blewett – MLB Trade Rumors

Orioles announced relief this afternoon Scott Blewett Accepted the team’s direct mission at the Florida complex. After being designated as a mission last week, the right was unclaimed. Baltimore is also activated Adley Rutschman From the injured list. Infielder Luis Vázquez Selected as a complex in the corresponding movement.
Baltimore acquired Blewett in a cash deal with Atlanta in June. A few weeks later, he fell down with an elbow injury and spent the past two months on the list of 60-day injuries. After he returned to health last week, O decided not to put him back on the MLB roster. Blewett had no choice, so at that time the Orioles needed to give him a waiver.
The 29-year-old Blewett has been thoroughly done several times in his career. He has the right to elect free agents, but apparently would rather spend the final week of the season at the O Complex. Anyway, he will be eligible for minor league free agents at the end of the season. Blewett threw a career-high 44 1/3 innings between three teams this season. He hit 18% from three-pointers and his average running rate is 5.48. He may see the minor league offer this winter.
