Profitable PGA events will be held in Donald Trump’s iconic Miami course

The PGA Tour will return to one of the most iconic venues in golf in 2026 as U.S. President Donal National hosts a brand new signature event.

The Miami Champion will be held on April 30 at Donald Trump’s Blue Monsters class, the first time since 2016 to return to the PGA Tour.

For a decade, the PGA Tour missed Donal of Trump’s country, who hosted four seasons of LIV golf.

The course is one of a long list of golf courses that Trump owns and is a staple for many seasons on the Florida track on the PGA Tour.

The 2026 signature event will feature a $20 million wallet and join eight high-profile tournaments with elite identities and bonuses.

This will be part of a lasting six-week extension that includes the Masters and PGA champions.

Over the years, Donald Trump’s Florida course has hosted several professional golf competitions.

  • PGA Tour Doral Open – 1962 to 2006
  • World Golf Championship – 2007-2016
  • Leaf Golf Miami – 2022 to 2025
  • Miami Champion – 2026

The Blue Monsters Course is one of the most iconic venues in golf, the long-awaited PGA Tour.

It was purchased by the Trump Organization in 2012 for $150 million before renovating its current challenging layout, deep bunkers and water hazards, and damaging them for $250 million.

Trump National Miami National Miami debuted in 2019 among 100 resorts in golf magazine.

Australian Marc Leishman won the Liv Miami title this year in Trump Doral Doral, scoring six shots until 54 holes.

That was another Australian Adam Scott, the latest player to win the PGA Tour event on the field, with his 12-under 72-shot enough to stop Bubba Watson from being in the World Golf Championship.

4. Arnold Palmer Invitational – Bay Mountain Club and Rocky, Orlando, Florida – March 2-8

5. RBC Legacy – Hilton Head Island Port Golf Connection, South Carolina – April 16-19

6. Miami Champion – Trump National Doral (Blue Monster) in Miami, Florida – April 30-May 3

7. Truist Champion – Quail Hollow Club in Charlotte, NC – May 7-10

8. Memorial competition held on weekdays – Moorefield Village Golf Club in Dublin, Ohio – June 4-7

9. Traveler Champion – TPC River Heights, Cromwell, Connecticut – June 25-28
