Oriole Direct Walter Pennington – MLB Trade Rumors

Orioles announced left-handed relief on Friday Walter Pennington The immunity was cleared and replaced by triple Norfolk. He was designated as a task on Wednesday, for the corresponding move of O Louis Castillo From Seattle.
Pennington, 27, was designated as a mission and was released by the Wanderer at the end of April. Baltimore grabbed his exemption. He appeared one in High-A Aberdeen and Norfolk respectively. Pennington couldn't find the strike zone, walking six out of 10 batsmen while allowing one inning (5 times to be won).
Pennington was originally drafted by the royal family and traded in Texas last summer Michael Lorenson Deadline transaction. He has been out of one season since the release of the 2.13 ERA, with a strikeout rate of 32.2% in 63 1/3 innings. Pennington had been pitching in the Rangers' complex before moving on, and his appearance with the Baltimore branch was shocking.
Now that he has cleared the saves, O can keep Pennington in Norfolk without taking him to the 40-man squad. Obviously, he needs better control than he has shown in his limited work so far, but if he can find the form from last year, he will be a solid depth. In the first 18 innings of last season, he recorded 3.00 points with 17 punches and 11 walks.
