“Not McIlroy!” – Who is the mysterious golfer on the Virus Ryder Cup shirt?

Golf fans around the world are caught up in a heated debate about Team USA’s Ryder Cup T-shirts, including the outline of a golfer similar to Rory McIlroy.

The Ralph Lauren T-shirt retails for $65, showing a golfer in a back-spin position that looks as good as a European Ryder Cup star.

Now, an argument has started on social media, with fans debating the true identity of the mysterious golfer.

Even McIlroy himself debated that “looks like Adam Scott.”

“It looks more like Adam Scott than I do, but yes, it looks a bit similar,” the 36-year-old said.

Although he shrugged at American fans wearing “McIlroy”.

“It’s okay. Very good. I don’t care.”

European golf fans are already confident in the so-called McIlroy. “We’ve already dropped 1-0 against Europe, which is great.” Another guy wondered “Rorry is switching sides?”

But now that Dust has settled in the release of T-shirts, the investigation has begun to look at who is actually the mysterious golfer.

Ralph Lauren hasn’t commented on the T-shirt yet, so fans have gone to social media to debate the golfer’s identity, and many believe it’s not McIlroy.

One Post said: “Of course it’s not Rory. Why would they wear Rory in American T-shirts.”

“Not Rory. The leading leg is not straight,” another said.

“Of course, choose the guy who has almost never become your logo…”

“This is Tiger Woods, not Rory”

“TBH I’ve seen a lot of Chris Kirk. But I can confidently say this is not Rory”

“The outline is weaker than Rory.”

Others have provided Jordan Spieth with a generous match, who was excluded from the team selection innings of our captain Keegan Bradley and failed to compete in the recent FedEx Cup playoffs.

One poster joked: “This is Spieth because he was excluded.”

“It’s Spieth. You can tell me the overlapping grip and how he burys his chin on his shoulders. Rory is interlocking, and his chin is above his shoulders. Either way, weirdly, because Spieth didn’t become the team.”

Then, 2023 U.S. Open champion Wyndham Clark was added to the debate.

“A little like Wyndham,” said one person

“It looks like Wyndham to me.”
