Leeds prepares for brutal summer windows, trio on chopping blocks

Leeds United have been promoted to the Premier League and they will hope to improve their squad in the summer transfer window.
They may also get rid of the fringe players. We have previously reported that summer windows may sell players like Darko Gyabi, Sam Greenwood and Joe Gelhardt.
Obviously, free agents are not a key part of their plan, so it makes sense for Leeds to sell them and raise some money from their departure. They will need to bring in quality players and selling some dead wood will help balance the books.
Leeds needs ruthlessness
Football finance expert Dan Plumley revealed in Mot Leeds news: “If your player is likely to be in that team and the teams in the championship game and the players around it, it’s not necessarily the case in the Premier League.
“And if you’re going to bring players in, you do have to transfer them and you can think of it as a ruthless way to do business, but if you can get a lot of money there for these players and that’s two to three, that’s quickly going to be £10-1.5 billion.
“It really has an impact, and in the end I think it depends on the team you are trying to create in the Premier League and we’ve seen this season, we’re not, these three have risen and straight back.”
Leeds Trio needs to keep moving forward

Gyabi, Greenwood and Gelhardt are young players who need regular games. Leeds will not be able to provide him with this opportunity. It makes sense for the players to move forward as well. They have a bright future and they should join a club where they will get enough first teams.
All three players borrowed Leeds last season and they will now work hard to solve their permanent future. They will hope to join a club where they will be a key member of the starting lineup so they can focus on football again. Whether they end up remains to be seen.
