Tottenham Hotspur poke fun at Man Utd, Sir Alex Ferguson, Clothing Series

Tottenham Hotspur broke into the Europa League victory – they chose to celebrate it with brilliant and subtle digging at Manchester United.
As part of their new Europa League title outfit collection, the Spurs have retracted one of the most iconic Gibbs in football: “Boys, this is Tottenham Hotspur.”
The quote was reportedly attributed to former Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson, who said in the locker room that motivated his team before the game against the Spurs. So far, Tottenham’s vulnerability has become a shorthand during the 17-year trophy drought.
After four defeats to Manchester United last season, including in the Europa League final, the Spurs flipped the narrative in a lively manner.
The new collection features naval hoodies and matching t-shirts, both with minimalist aesthetics, while the phrase “Boy, this is Tottenham,” is cleverly sewn or printed in white.
There was a delicious twist, with some Manchester United fans pre-printing their slogans before the final, expected to win. Instead, it was Tottenham Hotspur – now the first European champion and trophy holder in 18 years – they laughed at the end.
Limited edition items are now available through Tottenham’s official club store, providing fans with a wink of history.
