While this gives our team a shot in the arm, maybe this is not the year for us to load up and add pieces, and they may need to consider the market value price of some players who may not be part of the New York Islanders’ long-term future.

“Yeah, I think they want to support this team. I think they want to see if, in an open Western Conference, the Kings can be a team that breaks through and ultimately overcomes their first-round woes.
If they do that, why not be a team that makes the Western Conference Finals? Are the Kings better or worse than the Ducks and the Sharks, who beat the Utah Mammoths on Monday? How much better or worse are they than the Oilers? How about a Golden Knights team that has been scrambling over the past month?
