Edmonton Oilers Should Lock Jake Walman and Some Comparisons
Kurt Livings of Edmonton Magazine: Edmonton Oilers guard Jake Walman signed the final year of his contract with a salary of $3.4 million. Walman should get more second PP time this season and fix it on the second pairing.
As a UFA, Walman has high demand, so it might be wise for the Oilers to sign him before the start of the season. Comparisons are Brandon Montour ($7 million), Neal Pionk ($7 million) and Noah Hanifin ($7.35 million).
