NHL Rumors: Calgary Flames and Utah Hockey Club

Calgary Flame Waits UFA DAN VLADAR
nhl.com: Calgary Flames, waiting for UFA goalkeeper Dan Vladar.
“I would love to come back,” Vladar said. “I said it from the beginning. I’m grateful for what the organization gave me four years ago, basically one person, someone who has a few games in the NHL. The flames gave me the chance to be a regular NHL player. If it was my last day.
It lasted several months since the official name of Utah
Cole Bagley: The future name of Utah Hockey Club Chairman Chris Armstrong.
“We will definitely be at home and are expected to announce this in the coming months.”
“I won't say anything about this today.”
Utah Hockey Club will hope to upgrade this offseason
Craig Morgan from NHL.com: Utah Hockey Club has stacked the system with prospects and revamped the blue line during the offseason. Last season, they rose from 77 to 89 points and will increase expectations for next year.
During the offseason, Utah will seek to improve its progressive group. They can use the scoring winger, maybe the center.
“Completion is our weakness,” said General Manager Bill Armstrong. “We dominate at times. We are around us, but it's hard for us to complete, which took us a few games. It's something we have to look at and see if we can improve and see what helps us improve.”
There may be some pending UFA wingers to use, but with the ceiling their team may re-sign their possibilities. They may have to look at the deal. They do like their center, but Armstrong admits you can use it anytime.
“I don't know if we can add something in the summer. You have to look at what the team is thinking. It's really fun to see what's available.”
