It feels like he’s been around forever, but part of it was his debut in the NHL when he was 18 or 19 that year, back to the 2020 playoff bubble. So he has been around the edge of the Leaf Roster for a while.

So, you know, I think they have the ability to be open to rewards. It’s about making them think fair value. But you know, if this is another young player, if this is a draft pick, you know, probably this is something they can use to make future trades.
