Stauffer: “Let the text say, ‘For God’s love, Bob, would you ask, Stan, is there a potential Connor McDavid extension schedule?’
You know, people are a little nervous. I’m not, but I’m wondering, do you have some mechanism or window for you to think you and Judd Moldaver can work on it? ”
Bowman: “Yeah, I mean, I’ve had a great conversation with Judd since the end of the season. Honestly, I tried to give Connor the space he gave him, and I think it’s important that you know it’s important, a lot of it respects the athletes and you know their schedule.

So we have no detailed discussion of any kind, but we certainly will. And I think we were very encouraged by all the conversations I had to date. When time comes, time comes.
I think, you know, I love knowing Connor is just his motivation and leadership in our team. He is such a great player, but we all know. But when you have the opportunity to meet him and observe how he works, you know, in a team that no one else can see, you know, he is a big part of everything we do here.
And you know, so I don’t have a timeline update, but I hope there will be some conversation with them soon and hopefully I can wrap it up. ”
