NHL Rumor: Anaheim Ducks and Los Angeles Kings

Anaheim Ducks can turn D’s potential prospect into offense, and two unsuccessful UFAs
Eric Stephens of the Athlete: (Mail Bag) Anaheim Ducks defenseman Jacob Trouba and Radko Gudas are signing the final years of their contract. If the Ducks are in the playoffs, unless any player wants to be moved, they are unlikely to move. They may really not want to lose them nothing after the season, but it has been a while since the Ducks were in the playoffs.
The Ducks have a bunch of defensive prospects that they can seek to make a deal to achieve an impact while they grow up with the team on the younger side while they try to compete.
Given that the ducks aren’t ready for competition, Mitch Marner didn’t think about them seriously. Don’t think the Ducks are really interested in paying $14 million per season to attract Mana to Anaheim. They were interested, but there was no such number.
NHL Rumor: Ryan Hutson and Montreal Canadians Know What the Numbers Are
Rumor has it that the Ducks are interested in forwards Jason Robertson and Martin Necas.
Kings of Los Angeles focus on D replacement, Adrian Kempe may be in the $9 million range
Eric Stephens of the Athlete: (Mailbag) Los Angeles Kings’ offseason is more than many hope. They lost Vladislav Gavrikov to free agents, traded Jordan Spence, and replaced them with Brian Dumoulin and Cody Ceci. Drew Doughty is healthy and they will look for more from Brandt Clarke.
Forward Adrian Kempe is eligible to sign the extension, and he will seek cash out after his friendly four-year contract. Sam Reinhart has re-signed in Florida for eight years and sold for $8.625 billion. He did give up a little to be with the Panthers. Reinhart is not a direct comparison, as he is the highest two-way player, but it is a deal compared to Mitch Marner’s $12 million. Kempe is also not in the $12 million range. With an upward ceiling, Kemp’s trade could be brought to the $9 million range.
The Kings may be a potential landing point for Mitch Marner, but it’s clear that he wants to play for the Golden Knights in Las Vegas. The lack of state taxes may also be a factor.
NHL Rumor: How Marco Rossi’s Contract Impacts Mason McTavish Negotiations
GM Ken Holland focuses on free agent defense. Apart from Corey Perry and Joel Armia, it’s not sure who they’re looking at.
