NHL injuries: Hurricanes, Devils, Flyers, Maple Leafs, Canucks, Golden Knights, Jets

Cannis PR: Carolina Hurricanes goaltender Pyotr Kochetkov has been recalled from the American Hockey League (AHL) after a practice session. He was out with a lower-body injury.

Amanda Stein: New Jersey Devils forward Connor Brown remains out. Coach Sheldon Keefe said he’s doing better and if he continues to improve, he won’t be out too long. He is listed as day to day.

Kevin Kurtz: Philadelphia Flyers forward Tyson Foster will miss “a few games,” according to coach Rick Tocchet. Tocchet did say he would be “evaluated later,” and did not add “day-to-day,” which makes it seem like he could be out longer.
