NHL Rumors: Anaheim Ducks won’t be forced to trade Pavel Mintyukov
Robbie Stanley: Florida Panthers linebacker Aaron Ekblad returns to the lineup after missing one game with an upper-body injury.
Minnesota Wild PR: Forward Vinnie Hinostroza was placed on IR retroactive to Nov. 21 with a lower-body injury. He is listed as weekly.
new jersey devils: Forward Cody Glass returned to the lineup last night.
Vince Z. Mercogliano: New York Rangers forward JT Miller’s daily routine. Goaltender Jonathan Quick is out with a lower-body injury. Forward Vincent Trocheck missed the morning skate for precautionary reasons.
National Hockey League: Ottawa Senators forward Brady Tkachuk could return “sooner or later,” coach Travis Green said. They play on Wednesday, Friday, Sunday and next Tuesday.
Seth Rohrabaugh: Pittsburgh Penguins forward Brian Rust is dealing with an ailment they consider less serious. Forward Vere Koivunen has been cleared for contact. Goaltender Tristan Jarry is starting to increase his training volume as he recovers from injury.
Eduardo A. Encina: Tampa Bay Lightning defensive lineman Erik Cernak is performing well every week. Head coach Jon Cooper said Cernak’s injury is different from the one that caused him to miss two games last week. Forward Brayden Point was not in the lineup last night and is questionable to play Wednesday.
Jonas Siegel: Toronto Maple Leafs head coach Craig Berube said defenseman Jake McCabe is in good condition and will play against the Blue Jackets. Berube said forwards Auston Matthews, Matthew Nurse and Nick Roy are “imminent” in returning. Goaltender Anthony Stolarz and defenseman Brandon Carlo still haven’t skated. Stolarz is “far away”.

- Terry Coshan: Berube: “I’d say Matthews, Kernis, Roy are all close. I’ll probably find out tomorrow if they’re available on Wednesday.”
