Twins David Festa suffers end-of-season shoulder injury

Twin starter David Festa Bobby NightEngale of Minnesota suffered a setback in the season after suffering a setback after a shoulder injury. Festa will consult with Dr. Keith Meister, a renowned orthopedic surgeon.
The 25-year-old Festa has been out since mid-July. Minnesota sent him to Triple St. Paul, where he began recovery on August 28. Festa beat five innings in 2 2/3 without the division. It seems that he showed up due to shoulder pain. That would shut him down for a year. The twins will hope that there is no structural mismatch that will affect his 2026 availability.
Festa is in his second major league season. He missed the bat with an above-average bat but gave up too many home runs to create a 5.12 ERA in his first 25 games. Festa surrendered 5.40 runs this year in 53 1/3 frames. 6’6″ Righty is one of the best pitching prospects before Minnesota debuts. He is one of the few mid-20s pitchers, and the twins hope will be long-term rotation.
Zebby Matthews,,,,, Simeon Woods Richardson and deadline acquisition Taj Mahal Bradley Among the current five. Mick AlberAcquisition from Philadelphia Jhoan Duran Deal, who took a tough blow in his first two twin appearances, was selected as Triple-A yesterday. Festa is on the 15-day injury list, so if you need to open the 40-man roster before the end of the season, the twins can transfer him to the 60-day IL. He has crossed the one-year service line this season and has been under the club’s control for at least 2030.
