Newcastle wants this move for £56m in the match

The plot is thicker in Newcastle United and the legend of Alexander Isak. The Swedish striker issued a statement Tuesday night reaffirming his desire to leave the club, saying: “When promises are broken and trust is lost, the relationship will not continue.” It is easy to see that he is still far from St James’ Park.
Of course, Hipies will need to decide as soon as possible whether to sell their star striker. With less than two weeks left in the transfer window, any deal leaving the club must move quickly, so Newcastle has time to sign the substitute.
They are constantly associated with new central rewards and may take action for someone in the coming days.
Newcastle’s forward goal
Over the past few weeks and months, these pies have been linked to many central directions. Wolves forward Jorgen Strand-Larsen and Brentford’s Yoane Wissa were touted as two main potential targets.
However, a clear choice has appeared, with football insiders reporting that Paris Saint-Germain and Portuguese striker Goncarlo Ramos “hungry to put this action into practice”, which was to go to St James Park this summer.
The Northeast Giants “look at him” for the Champions League champions just in case it was held.
Indeed, the fact that the former Benfica star was so interested in the move was surely a huge positive motivation for Eddie Howe. This is a deal that could happen in the coming months, and for Newcastle it is “if all add up”.
Window’s earlier report suggested that PSG could demand £56 million this summer to sanction a deal.
Why Ramos is a good signing
Despite limited opportunities for Ramos, 24, led by the French capital Luis Enrique, he did impress him when he broke into the side. Ramos is described as the “Star of the Future” of Statman Dave, which undoubtedly shows his fatality.
Last season, the Portuguese International team won a World Cup hat-trick in 2022, playing 46 games and 1812 minutes, equivalent to 20 complete games. At that time, he managed to pack 19 goals and another 6 goals.
PSG also felt his influence in the first game in the 2025/26 sports. Ramos’ late equalizer against Totterham Hotspur in the Uefa Super Cup, one of his only four contacts in the open game, suggesting his clinical performance before the goal.
Well, the term clinical can certainly be used to describe ISAK. He performed well against Newcastle last season, finding the Nets in just 23 games in just 34 Premier League games, and most importantly six goals.
There is definitely a case where he was the best center in the top flight last semester, and Jamie Carragher seems to share a sentiment. Last December, he called him “the best striker in the Premier League now”.
With his huge goal of scoring, it is easy to understand why.
If Ramos moved to St James Park, then Howe would love him to become the second arrival of ISAK. Even if each of them targets the goal above and burst out after a late defender, you can see the intuition they have before the goal.
Statistics show that the players are also very similar. For example, last season, Ramos averaged 0.85 goals and 0.51 goals per 90 minutes. By comparison, the Newcastle striker averaged 0.75 goals and 0.46 goals per game.

While £69 million is a huge investment, especially so late in the window, Newcastle will need to replace Isaac if it leaves. There is evidence that Ramos would be the ideal choice to do so.
Given his goal percentage and some basic statistics, he might be Newcastle’s dream iSak replacement. At least, signing a player who wants to represent the club is a huge attraction for Hippies.
