Newcastle discusses the ‘elite’ of the competitive label agency £40 million price

Good things come to those who are waiting. Of course, this is a motto that is firmly printed in the Newcastle United fan base.
Hipies met another frustrating start to the summer transfer window, with Matheus Cunha, Bryan Mbeumo and Joao Pedro all opting to go to St James Park.
But Eddie Howe signed Nottingham Forest Winger for £55m to bounce off last summer’s defeated Anthony Elanga bid to fill a huge hole in his first team.
Now, he is planning something special. The symbol of club ambitions, they want not only to undermine the hegemony of the Premier League, but also to destroy it, making themselves part of the new Big Six.
After winning the Carabao Cup for the second time in three years and qualifying for the Champions League, Toon was fine on his way to achieving this goal, with Hugo Ekitike’s signing only robbing this new position of strength.
Latest information about Hugo Ekitike in Newcastle
There is no doubt that if Liverpool and Chelsea beat others, Newcastle would sparkle the shock wave in the football world, with Ekitic’s signature.
The Frenchman is a rare central variety in his craft, truly vibrant and creative. Analyst Ben Mattinson has described him as “one of the best forwards there”, but we are looking for a player who still has mountain climbs before completing the development.
And it’s hard to imagine evolution just stopping when it moves to Tyneside. Eintracht Frankfurt has overseen the progress of the 23-year-old since arriving from Paris Saint-Germain in January 2024, and as a borrower, he became a fixed feature on the ship.
Of course, Newcastle’s interest is profound, as Manchester United won a £33m bid in 2022, but for PSG’s late interruption, Rems’s prospects are turning heads.
Now, according to the highest sources such as David Ornstein and Fabrizio Romano of track and field, Newcastle is moving forward in hopes of a deal.
News like this represents a double-edged sword: Ekitike has a world-class striker, but his acquisition has intensified fears surrounding Alexander Isak’s future, with Liverpool already trying to lure him to Anfield with a staggering £130 million deal. Anyway, that’s what journalist Martin Hardy said.
Especially because Howe wants to take Newcastle’s summer spending to the next level, it’s the move of Premier League stars.
Newcastle discusses Premier League star moves
According to the movement, Ekitike isn’t the only previous transfer target on Newcastle’s Radar, with the name of Crystal Palace defender Marc Guehi constantly discussing at internal recruitment meetings.
Newcastle rejected Eagles chairman Steve Parish last summer rejecting Guehi’s four bids, but now they can return, with the three Lions having no plans to renew in the final year of their contract.
Liverpool is also a staunch admirer, hoping to sign the 25-year-old for £40 million. But, like Ekitike, Newcastle’s long-term interest may have a negative impact.
Why Marc Guehi will be an excellent signing
Over the past few years, Guehi has established himself as one of the major central defenders in the British football field, crowned 155 senior appearances at Crystal Palace and won Manchester City reputation in May to win.
His time at Selhurst Park seems to be over, though, and the Eagles may want to cash in on their “elite” talent, as writer Eddie Gibbs says, rather than losing him for free next year.
Bobby Manzi is known as the “defense monster” by journalist Bobby Manzi, which is actually the perfect defensive image of Howe’s system: he is a combative, collecting and quiet authority.
Furthermore, the technical qualities that the England international surpassed could make him accused of transition focus, thus enhancing the level of the system that could make him prove that he was an exciting signing like any move by Ekitike, which is certainly saying something.
Ekitike is one of the most talented young forwards around, but he also works. His ball hits, his intuitive weaknesses are flawed, and although these are small things, his potential is far beyond the scale.
Instead, Guehi has been shaped into a complete package for the capital Oliver Glasner wing and is expected to run in Newcastle.
When it’s right and full of features, Sven Botman is clearly Newcastle’s best center. His 2022/23 campaign was a thing worth watching, but his last two terms were disrupted by setbacks.
It’s one thing to watch Guehi against that dizzy height. This could be a player who moved over and immediately established his own Newcastle crop.

We can infer the above data to suggest that Guehi’s signature has the same advantages and is equally exciting, for any transactions by Ekitike in the next few weeks.
After all, Guy has been called “England’s best centre-back” by an analyst, and the evidence is his fixed position with the Three Lions over the past few years.
As it starts to become a frustrating subject, Guehi’s deal does seem to include fending off Liverpool. But with Howe building an incredible project, Guehi will certainly play the lead role under the lights of St James Park, the British might feel that moving to Newcastle was the best move of his career.
Given the Palaceman’s ability and the need for a centre-back, there must be an argument that Guehi may be the decisive success of Tyneside’s huge transfer window.
