3 Losing 6-4 in Game 1 of Prospect Showcase – Hockey Writer – 3 Key Points for Wild Minnesota

With the next week of training camp beginning, the NHL season is approaching, and this weekend, the prospect of Wild Minnesota has the opportunity to showcase their skills in the Tom Kurvers Prospect display cabinet. They hosted hosts at the Chicago Blackhawks and St. Louis Blues at Tria Rink, a practice facility in the wild, minutes from the Grand Casino Arena, which was once appointed as the Xcel Energy Center, where they played all the home games in the wild.

The wild prospects occupy the outlook for the St. Louis Blues, Friday night, September 112. The Blues will face the Chicago Blackhawks in their second game Saturday, Sept. 13, and then the Wild and Blackhawks will end the weekend on Sunday, Sept. 14.

The wild arrived early in the Blues, but fought back, and it was a tie for the last period. The Blues ranked first with two goals in the last two minutes with a 6-4 victory. The event is all about prospects and we will introduce some of the prospects from their first game.

Buy continues to shine

Wild fans always want to hear more about Zeev Buim after seeing him play four games last playoffs and the talent he has. The display cabinet once again showed that talent and it was easy to say when he was on the ice. He accelerated up and down, mainly an offensive opportunity, and they paid off when they scored.

He also has the chance to show off his skills in power play, and he looks comfortable as he can provide instructions to his teammates as they line up for several different times. He moved the puck well, raised his head and showed the same level of calm as the playoffs.

As long as Buim continues to show talent like him, he will likely be on the roster at the beginning of the season. However, it is not clear whether he is full-time or a senior or a senior. It all depends on his game and his teammates, as the wild will start the season without Jonas Brodin, but who will be weird once he comes back? If he wants to stay, Buium will have to continue to step up the game.

Wild depth display

Buium stole a lot of gigs, but there were a lot of players who did a great job. Danila Yurov, Adambenák, Hunter Haight, Riley Heidt and Jack Peart were mentioned several times throughout the game, filming the game and trying to impress. Every player has a great speed and despite the errors, all players have found ways to bounce back.

Yurov was able to show his skills in the power play and although he didn’t register for a goal, he had some chances. Benák’s name was mentioned all night, and the announcer kept saying he was a highlight since the first pucks fell, ending with three assists. Haight and Heidt worked together on the same line, and there was also a great chance that Haight set one of the goals in the field with an impressive pass.

Peart is one of the defensive players outside Buium, and in terms of defense, he noticed the most games throughout the game. Peart is a smaller player, and he’s more like defending his first game than some teammates. Unfortunately for him, unless he has a huge impact compared to everyone else, he doesn’t have enough roster positions to get him to the NHL, but that doesn’t mean he won’t be there in the near future.

Wild’s special team stands out

The most eye-catching final event throughout the game is the special team, whether it’s power play or free throw kills. Despite the early days in the wild, they found a way to bounce back with the help of a power game. They scored in back-to-back power matches, giving themselves a 2-2 lead after falling behind.

Then, it was the Blues turn as they surpassed the penalty kill in the wild with the only game goal. However, the third game in the wild tied it up again, but this time it was 4-4. When Bruce scored the last two goals, the special team’s performance ended, one hitting a strong point while the other won on the empty nets.

The top players on both teams performed well regardless of the score, and overall it was a good game. A lot of physical training is needed, but overall it’s fun and players are eager to show their skills in every aspect of hockey. It would be interesting to see how the wild react to it, if they can win to end the weekend’s game against the Blackhawks.
