New England Patriots to unveil Tom Brady’s statue in preseason on August 8

Tom Brady’s statue is bronze and 12 feet tall

On June 12, 2025, the Patriots announced that they will unveil the statue of Tom Brady in a preseason against Commander on August 8. The award ceremony will be held outside the Patriot Hall of Fame in Patriot Square. The announcement comes a year after Brady was inducted into the Hall of Fame. Last summer, 60,00 fans squeezed into Gillette Stadium to celebrate the seventh Super Bowl title.

Six of these seven champions are with the Patriots. New England won in 2001, 2003, 2004, 2014 and 2018. When Tom became the starting QB, Tom completely changed the trajectory of the Patriots franchise. He replaced the injured Drew Bledsoe in 2001, and the rest is history. In his historic NFL career, Brady is a 15-time professional bowler, three-time league MVP, five Super Bowl MVP, and three-time first-team global games.

After the 2022 season, Tom Brady retired from the NFL after 23 seasons. He is eligible for the NFL Hall of Fame in 2028. The 47-year-old holds an all-time record that includes 89,214 yards, 649 touchdown passes and 251 regular season champions. Brady scored 219 regular season wins, 74,751 pass yards and 541 pass touchdowns with the Patriots. On August 8, the Patriots will unveil Tom Brady’s statue in the preseason with the Commander.
