Starting from the 2026-27 season, the NBA Cup semi-finals will no longer be held in Las Vegas.
During Wednesday’s board meeting, the league announced it would hold the NBA Cup semi-finals at Team Arenas. However, the final will still be held at a neutral location.
The semi-finals and finals have been played at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas since the league joined the NBA Cup in the 2023-24 season.

Las Vegas will still host the final two rounds of the game this season. According to NBA.com, the games will be held on December 13 (semi-finals) and 16 games (finals).
The NBA has not confirmed whether Vegas will continue to be the host of the championship game after the 2025-26 season, but the league does point out that future games will be played at neutral locations.
For example, two games of the 2024-25 NBA Cup will be held at the Fiserv Forum in Milwaukee and the Paycom Center in Oklahoma City.
The Bucks and Thunder won their semifinals, beating the Atlanta Hawks and Houston Rockets respectively.
NBA Cup is the third edition in 2025-26
The 2025 NBA Cup will be a hit in the team market on Friday, October 31, and will be held at T-Mobile Arena with the semi-finals (Saturday, December 13) and the champions (Tuesday, December 16) at T-Mobile Arena.
The NBA Cup consists of two stages – group matches and knockout matches.
All 30 teams were randomly attracted in their meetings based on Win loss records in the 2024-25 regular season.
The Eastern and Western Group was unveiled in July.
Each team will play four designated team matches on “Cup Nights”, which will begin on October 31 and continue until November 28.
After the group match, eight teams will advance to the knockout stage. These teams include two wildcards and teams, and performed best in group matches in each of the six groups.
In fact, wildcards will be the team at each meeting, ranking second in group games.
Meanwhile, the knockout round will include the quarterfinals (Tuesday, December 9 and Tuesday, December 10), the semifinals and the single knockout round for the champion.
The knockout team will compete for prize money and the NBA Cup championship trophy.
