Golf Business News – Golf for the Golf Elite of Northern Ireland as the National Host Golf 2026

Golf Tourism’s latest showcase event Golf Golf will be held for the first time in 2026 on Emerald Island, as the industry’s renowned figures are welcomed by the great golf nation of Northern Ireland.
Golf Course, resort and accommodation providers will be held from October 25 to October 30, 2026 to contact Senior International Tour Operators during tailoring appointments and at the golf course and evening reception.
Golf Golf (will be in the third stage in 2026) is divided into two stages, with the first half of the six-day match being held in Northern Ireland. Here, a carefully selected pool from the world’s best golf tour operators will be held at the luxurious Galgorm resort in County Antrim and experience the hotel’s premium hotel.
Golf Golf Director Leanne Thorpe said: “In golf golf, our mission is to bring people together and we are pleased that the next chapter will begin in 2026 in the magnificent landscape of Northern Ireland.
“We look forward to starting our own outstanding course by highlighting the region’s outstanding courses and immersing ourselves in the tradition that makes Northern Ireland so special.”
Attendees from golf clubs, resorts and accommodation providers are also able to attend the first stop of the event, with world-class link courses in several countries on conference tour agencies, including the open championship venue Royal Prothush (pictured).
After golf on October 27, guests will fly to Scotland via a private charter to participate in this week’s business section – return again to St Andrews and Fairmont St Andrews for pre-scheduled conference appointments, well-curated network experiences and more excellent golf.
George Diamondis, Golf Marketing Manager, Tourism Northern Ireland, said: “NI is pleased to support golf and bring familiar travel to our shores next year. Golf Golf brings together the world’s leading golf tour operators and we are excited to provide us with a first-hand experience of our special courses, breathtaking, breathtaking landscapes and warm healing accommodation.
“Building on the momentum of hosting the 153rd Open, it is a key opportunity to enhance the value of golf tourism and further enhance Northern Ireland’s reputation as a world-class golf destination.”
Leigh Heggarty, Director of Business Development at Galgorm Collection, said: “We are very proud to bring the opening building of Golf 2026 to Northern Ireland and host this influential event at Galgorm. With this public return to the Royal image this year, Northern Ireland continues to consolidate its position on the global stage with a solid attitude and a competitive strength, a great golf course.
