What would a realistic trade with the Milwaukee Bucks for Freddy Peralta look like for the Warriors? While I’d love to see Seth join the Warriors, I think he might get better treatment elsewhere, as Atlanta seems to insist on “logic” (referring to Friedman’s quote) with every free agent. Milwaukee is keen to get extra stuff out of its pitching staff, and Peralta is a finished product that’s too expensive for them to keep for much longer. will you like it Bryce Elder (Milwaukee can definitely figure out how to make him better), could a top-15 pitching prospect and a top-30 position player prospect get the deal done?
As we were thinking about free agency, we had one Dylan Seth Signed a three-year, $93MM contract with two opt-outs. We’ve had some difficulty offering Seth the long-term deal he might seek, primarily because of his 4.55 ERA. For the most part, we have overcome these reservations and expect to stop signing for about seven years because Aaron Nora Regular season scoring average was 4.46.
It should be noted that the Warriors were competitive in the bid for Nola, so we can’t completely rule out Alex Anthopoulos’ desire for Seth, a Georgia native. But in fact, Anthopoulos’s biggest free agent deal in terms of years and dollars during his eight years in the Warriors’ front office was Marcel OzunaThe four-year, $65MM agreement signed in February 2021. I agree that a suspension feels unlikely in Atlanta.

Among my top 50 picks, I signed with the Braves Chris Bassett. I also found that the idea of acquiring Sonny Gray for a full payment was feasible.
But there’s nothing stopping Anthopoulos from thinking bigger and loaning Peralta out for a year, regardless of whether they end up re-signing him.
