Arsenal are working on a complex deal for Bayer Leverkusen’s versatile defensive player Piero Hincapie, and Jakub Kiwior’s export is also key to the move.
According to Charles Watts in his latest column Attracted by the sidethe reporter explained that Kiwior’s move to Porto has not yet been advanced.
Although the Polish international has been allowed to allow the Gunners to receive medical treatment in Porto, Watts insists that is not the case.
Arsenal will not want to have no alternatives, which is why Hinkerby’s potential signature is a key reason for allowing Kiwior to complete the relocation elsewhere.

Watts discussed his latest information about Arsenal’s potential business, saying: “Arsenal’s interest in Piero Hincapie is directly related to Porto’s attempt to sign Jakub Kiwior.
“If the recruitment team passes by before the transfer window ends, the recruitment team sees the Ecuadorian international as an ideal replacement for Kiwell.
“So it depends heavily on whether Arsenal and Porto can reach final details about the Kiwio deal, but also on whether Arsenal can reach an agreement with Bayer Leverkusen, which works for Hincapie.
“So, it’s still a very complicated situation when writing this column.
“Some people suggest that Kivor will travel to Portugal to complete medical treatment with Porto on Tuesday, but I’m always told that this is not the case.
“As far as I understand, it still needs to be stuck before Kiwior is allowed to leave, and it doesn’t take genius to figure out whether these things revolve around whether the replacements come about.
“Arsenal have spent this window building a team they think the club can compete in every aspect and can solve any damage problem, so the last thing they want is to short circuit in key areas before the deadline, especially Oleksandr Zinchenko may leave.
“They also need to make sure to reach a deal with Kiwior, but, before pressing the replacement button, since the squad has no other room to arrive at, unless there is also a departure.
“So it’s a bit complicated to work in the last few days of the windows.”
