Miami Open: American Coco Gauff reaches first final of tournament

“It’s not as simple as the score suggests,” Goff told Sky Sports.
“I’m not nervous, but whenever you play someone a lot, it’s hard to keep doing what you’ve been doing and change it. Today, I found a good balance.
“It feels so good to be at home. I’ll alternate between my parents’ house and my own house, depending on how late we finish. They live closer, so it’s nice to have family support.”
The win will see the two-time Grand Slam champion overtake former world number one Swiatek and move up to third in next week’s WTA rankings.
Gauff, currently ranked fourth in the world, will face Friday’s winner’s match between Aryna Sabalenka and Elena Rybakina.
“I haven’t competed this year either, so it will be a good competition to see where I am,” she added.
“I walked out with the belief that I could win.”
