Chelsea 3-0 Paris Saint-Germain – Report results and goals, Blues become world champion

Chelsea made a stunning performance, defeating Paris Saint-Germain 3-0 to win the club World Cup and become the champion.

Cole Palmer’s support and Joao Pedro’s amazing finishing point won before halftime, and despite the replacements in the second half, PSG was shocked to respond and tried to change the momentum.

Starting with the first whistle, Chelsea looks more aggressive and structured.

Early opportunities fell on Palmer and Marc Cucurella, and the Blues won half of the PSG.

On the 22nd, when Malo Gusto overlapped runs and low crosses found Palmer’s center, their early pressure was rewarded. The forward seized the opportunity and shot his left foot into the bottom corner, bringing the master forward.

Just eight minutes later, Palmer doubled his count, this time at the end of a lightning strike.

Levi Colwill ran forward and picked out Palmer, who again found the net with his left foot, this time tucked it inside the post and stuffed it into the outpost with the composition.

Despite facing the ruthless European champion, Chelsea had complete control of the game at 2-0.

The French champions tried to get a response, with Doue and Joao Neves both testing Robert Sanchez on Chelsea goals.

However, the Spanish keeper was on alert and made several key savings throughout the game to keep his clean sheets.

The third and last goal is before the break. Palmer became a provider, sliding a clever ball into the Joao Pedro’s path.

The forward, undoubtedly, entered the top corner, giving Chelsea a 3-0 lead in the half.

The scoring line is a fair reflection of the first half, with Chelsea ruthlessly in front of the goal, and PSG is passive and prone to mistakes without verbal use.

In the second half of the year, PSG tried to seize its way in a triple alternative in 73 minutes, introducing Goncalo Ramos, Warren Zaire-Emery and Senny Mayulu, hoping to inject some sense of urgency.

But Chelsea was inspired by the first half advantage, maintained the discipline and continued to frustrate visitors.

The frustration of PSG boiled in the final stage. After VAR review of the violence, Joao Neves received a red card in the 86th minute, reducing visitors to ten men and effectively ending any slim hopes for a comeback.

Nuno Mendes and Ousmane Dembele were also shown as grumpy yellow cards, closed for a night, forgetting about Luis Enrique’s side.

Palmer is undoubtedly the star of the show. His form will be music from the ears of Chelsea fans before the 2025-26 campaign as they hope to compete in the Premier League Champions League Challenge.
