Men Jointly agree to personal terms to sign goalkeeper Senne Lammens

Givemesport said the appearance of Manchester United will strengthen its goalkeeper division, and the club now has advanced negotiations to sign Senne Lammens of Real Antwerp.

The 23-year-old Belgian has become the latest transfer target for new head coach Ruben Amorim, who continues to reshape the team this summer.

Lammens was especially excluded on Sunday’s match-day match against Mechelen, a decision widely interpreted as a sign of how the dialogue is progressing.

The report shows that the young goalkeeper has reached a personal clause with Manchester United, bringing the deal closer to completion.

The Red Devils are believed to have made a proposal worth about £17 million, while Antwerp costs more than £20 million.

Despite the slight differences in valuations, sources close to negotiations show that this will not be a stumbling block. Both clubs are optimistic that compromises will be reached in the coming days, paving the way for Lammens to become Amorim’s next signing.

Importantly, this signing is not expected to affect Andre Onana, who remains the club’s established No. 1.

Instead, Ramons is seen as a long-term investment to learn from players under Onana while gradually getting involved in the team.

Lammens was highly regarded in Belgium, and he was under surveillance from several European clubs, but Manchester United seemed to have made progress quickly to lead the game.

Transfermarkt’s Belgian regional manager Bart Tamsyn and former club Brugge Scout praised the goalkeeper:

“Lammens’s mindset is incredible and has remained calm in all circumstances. He also proved that he had a true goalkeeper quality last season, as no one got savings in Jupiler Pro League than he did. In addition, Lammens is a goalkeeper who searched for football solutions and was comfortable for both left and right feet.”
