Men jointly agree to personal terms to sign Danny Welbeck in January

United strengthened their offense and goalkeeper divisions this summer.

Ruben Amorim made a thorough improvement to the team’s offense this summer by signing players like Benjamin Sesko, Matheus Cunha and Bryan Mbeumo.

For goalkeepers, Manchester United signed Senne Lammens of Real Antwerp on the deadline.

However, Manchester United tried to sign another attacker at the last moment of the summer transfer window.

Amorim wants another attacker at the club, and according to football pickup, the Red Devils agree to the personal terms of forward Danny Welbeck, who now plays for Brighton.

The 34-year-old scored ten goals in the Premier League last season and his performance impressed his former club.

As United hopes to add their offense to the offense after Rasmus Hojlund arrives in Napoli, the club sees Welbeck as the late companion.

According to the report, Brighton decided not to sanction the transfer because they did not have enough time to sign the replacement.

Welbeck is now likely to move to Old Trafford in January’s transfer window.

United explored the moves of another Brighton player, midfielder Carlos Baleba, but the Premier League side is reluctant to sell him this summer. During talks with Baleba, the Red Devils discussed the potential of signing Welbeck.

Jason Wilcox personally participated in the discussion to bring Welbeck back to Old Trafford.

Welbeck scored 29 goals in 142 senior appearances for the Red Devils, but was sold to Arsenal in 2014 due to competition from the club.

He could provide experience for Manchester United’s offense, but at the age of 34, signing him means nothing to Amorim’s side. Sesko and Joshua Zirkzee are already behind, and Welbeck has little to do with Old Trafford.
