Marlins get Michael Peterson from the Brave

The Brave is trading relief equipment Michael Peterson Christina de Nicola of MLB.com reported that cash considerations are to be taken to the Marlins. She added that Peterson will be selected for Triple Jacksonville. Miami will need to create a 40-man roster to complete the deal.

Atlanta designated Peterson’s mission last week. The 31-year-old Righty voted four times for the brave. He threw 6 2/3 innings three-round balls and a pair of walks hit 5 innings. Petersen spent more seasons among the top Gwinnett members. Petersen was 7% on the 3.13 ERA with a strikeout rate of 25.7% and a minor walking percentage. This is his second impressive three seasons in a row. Last year, he fired 1.64 ERA balls in 33 innings while playing more than a third of his opponents there.

This will be Peterson’s second term in Miami. Last September, the Fish caught him from the Dodgers’ waiver. Peterson threw five times and gave up four runs (three points) until 5 2/3 frames. He was in the MLB bullpen for the last two and a half weeks of the regular season. At the beginning of the offseason, they lost him on the waiver. Peterson then entered the Angels and Braves’ Little Deal before returning to Miami.
