Marlins designate Rob Brantly to do the job

Marlins resume catcher Rob Brandt According to MLB.com’s transaction log, from the list of injured 60 days. Instead of adding him to the active roster, Miami is the minor league choice, so it can’t be simply sent to Jacksonville, but Miami has designated the veteran catcher for the mission.
Brantly, 36, appeared in three games in April, scoring 3-3 in the set. It was a short run in the majors, but Brandt’s stay in the Grand Slam was extended because he suffered from the stress of fatigue in the quick call. He most needs to stay on the 60-day injury list, so it may be a week’s roster, extending to more than two months of major league service hours.
Brandt appeared in part of 10 major league seasons, but only 141 games. His career was a .226/.286/.323 batsman in the major leagues and his slap line occupied the .266/.324/.390 bats line in the 2743 season 2743 seasons. The Marlins have five days of trade, putting him on a thorough exemption or release him. He may pass unclaimed immunity and then have the right to reject minor league missions or accept a mission back to Jacksonville, where he continues to play a deep role.
